Frequently Asked Questions

How can you help me?

Whether you’re an individual seeking information or treatment for yourself or a loved one, American Addiction Centers can help. Our mission is to provide up-to-date, relevant information about drug and alcohol abuse and addiction. Our Treatment Consultants are highly-trained experts when it comes to addiction, treatment and recovery, and are available 24/7 to answer any and all questions. We are your one-stop drug information resource.

As the exclusive resource of American Addiction Centers, we also help individuals learn more about and begin treatment within a program provided by American Addiction Centers, a national leader in behavioral healthcare provider focused on addiction treatment and rehabilitation. Some of our own staff are in recovery from their own past addictions, so you can rest assured that we treat every client with the compassion and understanding that comes from having been there ourselves.

What types of treatment programs do you help provide?

American Addiction Centers owns and operates premiere adult drug and alcohol treatment and rehabilitation facilities nationwide. We also have an adolescent facility and a lifestyle transformation facility for men and women who struggle with eating disorders, behavioral health disorders and eating patterns associated with being overweight or obese.

All of these facilities offer comprehensive treatment, exceptional staff and individualized programs tailored to the needs of you or your loved one.

Where are these treatment centers located?

Treatment facilities in the American Addiction Centers family are located across the country, in California, New Jersey, Florida, Texas, Nashville and Las Vegas.

Do you work with the family during the treatment process?

Addiction impacts the entire family. We help families decide if their loved one is ready for treatment, and programs through American Addiction Centers guide families through the treatment process by alleviating stresses, providing counseling, designing treatment strategies and arranging aftercare programs led by caring, experienced professionals.

How much does treatment cost?

Many clients are surprised to find very low costs associated with treatment. However, the cost varies from client to client. Your situation is unique, and therefore your costs will also be unique. But don’t let the fear of high costs stop you from reaching out. We have options, and are determined to help you.

Many of our facilities provide specific lists for what you can and cannot bring to treatment. General guidelines for most of our treatment centers include:
