In this course, we discuss how to develop a credible system that will provide wrap-around services to assess, treat, and be pro-active in maintaining psychological fitness. This includes negotiating boundary issues, coping with different systems, and maintaining good communication understand the rules of the various systems.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Participants will learn how to find and/or develop a credible system that will provide wrap-around services that will assess, treat, and be pro-active in maintaining psychological fitness.
  2. Participants will learn how to negotiate boundary issues, cope with different systems, and maintain good communication so that all the players understand the rules of the various systems.

Presenter:

James P. Curran, PhD, is the Clinical Director at Plaza Psychology and Psychiatry in Woonsocket, RI. His current research interests on in evaluation of psychosocial treatment for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and behavioral family intervention treatment of PTSD. He also has taught at the University of Illinois and Brown University.
