Treatment Options
Clinical Assessments: Upon admission and as needed, patients undergo clinical assessments and reviews with our certified Primary Therapists, Medical Directors/Nurses, Nutritionists and/or Personal Trainers to evaluate where they are in the addiction and recovery process.
Medical Detox: During the detox phase, which typically lasts between 5-7 days, our highly trained physicians administer safe detox protocol to make patients feel as comfortable as possible, as withdrawal symptoms are expected. By progressing through the detox process, however, negative symptoms tremendously diminish. Residential treatment should immediately follow detox — the longer the time between detox and residential treatment, the greater the risk of relapse.
Residential Treatment: Within our residential rehabilitation programs, patients call our facilities ‘home’ during the duration of their stay. From admission to discharge, they are immersed in sober living environments. Our team of caring and compassionate experts closely interacts with and helps each patient break free from drug dependencies and compulsive behaviors.
Adolescent Care: For 13-to-17 year-olds in need of guidance and support, American Addiction Centers helps adolescents overcome addiction and destructive behaviors. The environment is nurturing and supportive and the staff is highly experienced in working with younger patients.
Behavioral Health Services: American Addiction Centers specializes in dual diagnosis, helping men and women who have alcohol, drug and other addictions that are co-occurring with behavioral health issues such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, trauma and more.
Employee Care: American Addiction Centers is the go-to resource for all of your clients’ needs. Our full-service case and crisis management division, which includes EAP/MAP and intervention services, helps nationwide organizations address their employee and member needs.
Aftercare: Early on, we work with patients to develop continuing care plans. Contacts and referrals are provided to further recovery. Schedules detailing patient activity for several days post-treatment are created. Follow-ups typically begin 30- days post-treatment.
Lifestyle Wellness: For adults struggling with weight management, eating disorders or obesity, FitRx goes beyond diets and workouts. Behavioral, medical, nutritional and physiological experts provide the tools needed to live healthier through comprehensive programming.
